CLUSTERTRUCK SPEEDRUN WR PC
Experiment a bit to see what your pc can handle comfortably Again, keep shadows to zero and change your FOV all you want, it shouldn't affect your performance.Įverything off except Vsync and keep shadows to zero. I've already covered VSync so just leave that on, it does something with vertical frames to make it smoother. TAA, I have no clue what it does but I haven't bothered to mess around with it yet so maybe it might help. Bloom affects lighting, you can try it but it might slow down your pc a bit, it basically adds lens flare and reflections. SOAA,now I'm not sure but that one, if enabled will REALLY lag up your game so don't try it without a high end pc. As for what the settings mean, FOV (field of view) doesn't matter, that's how wide you can see. These settings will usually get you about 20-30 fps on the less crazy levels, up until about the steampunk world you'll be fine. I personally am running a fairly low-end pc right now so I would try disabling everything except vsync (vsync makes it smoother) and also put shadows to zero, they look strange without any other settings to help them. Try experimenting a little to see what works best. It's not really that important to know what they mean, just what they do. "Super Hot Meets Trucks? You Get Super Trucks, Obviously". "Van Damme meets The Matrix in Clustertruck". "PAX East: ClusterTruck is 'Way, Way, Way Too Hard' ". "Superhot meets Clustertruck in Super Truck". "Super Truck is Superhot but with trucks". "Playable April Fools' gag Supertruck apes Superhot, Clustertruck".

The game was released on 27 September 2016. Landfall released preview copies of the game to various YouTube and Twitch streamers to help promote the title.

This deal led the developers to push the release date to the third quarter of 2016, where Landfall Games CEO Wilhem Nylund said that it was "initially intended for the game to be a small project with a short development", but changed his mind and considered the game to be delayed even further, as it has "gaining more and more traction." As an April Fool's Day joke, Landfall released a free demo version of Clustertruck called Supertruck that incorporated the visual style and mechanic of the recently released Superhot, in which the internal clock within the game moves forward when the player-character moves. At PAX South 2016, it was announced that Landfall Games had signed a publishing deal with tinyBuild. The game was officially revealed on 16 December 2015 with a trailer and a release date of April 2016. Development ĭevelopment on Clustertruck started in September 2015, after the development on Landfall Games' previous game, Square Brawl, was finished. The player's cumulative score points can be used to purchase one of several abilities, such as a double jump or a quick boost of speed, which can then be used to either successfully pass more difficult levels or to improve one's time and scoring on earlier ones. On each stage, the player is scored based on how fast they reach a goal line and a number of style points based on various tricks, such as jumping off a truck that is currently in mid-air. The player is usually unable to touch anything other than trucks, and will otherwise fail their task of reaching the goal at the end of the level. They are set to jump onto a moving line of trucks, avoiding obstacles and truck pile-ups and crashes. In Clustertruck, the player controls a character from a first-person perspective.
